What grabs my attention....

When I am reading someone else's narrative, the thing that grabs my attention and draws me into the story is when I can relate to it. To me, when you can relate to that person it just makes the story have so much more emotion and thought because you have felt the same way. I love reading and have read many stories and that I love it when I can relate to the story in someway bcause you like to see how they handled it and the what possible made them have that story to tell. Narratives that keep you in suspense also draw me into them. Stories that keep you on the edge of your seat, not wanting to put the book because you want to see whats coming next are my favorite as well. Narratives seem to have more emotion than any other and that draws me into because I dont like to read something thats just blah & borning.
